Billa Foods – Branding and packaging design.
The Brief.
Following on from our packaging design for Billa Pasta, we were asked to extend the range into an ‘authentically Italian’ tomato paste. Our brief was to create a design that inspired consumers who were not always the most adventurous in the kitchen, to cook from scratch.

Our Approach.
Based on a creative positioning of ‘The Home Of Great Ingredients’, we created pack design for Billa that hero’s the sumptuous tomatoes that Billa source from Italian farms. It was imperative the new tomato paste retained the family feel of Billa’s Pasta range whilst having its own personality.
The Result.
Our new packaging design for Billa tomato paste celebrates the taste of authentic Italian home cooking using rich colours and watercolour illustration to evoke provenance. Billa, the home of great ingredients!
