
Eti – Dare Chocolate Branding & packaging design.
The Brief.
Slice Design were tasked with repositioning ETi’s global snack brand Dare, a range of chocolate bars, wafers, biscuits, cakes and muffins to elevate its emotional appeal and premium positioning.
While the brand was already well established, the goal was to create a stronger shelf presence and build a deeper connection with consumers by celebrating indulgence, flavour and sensory pleasure.
Dare needed a new visual identity that reflected its rich textures, bold combinations and elevated snacking experience.

The Strategy.
The strategy focused on transforming Dare into a brand that invites consumers to escape the everyday and embrace curiosity through bold flavour and texture combinations. “One bite, one unique pleasure” captured the opportunity to discover something extraordinary in every snack.
The design approach visually mirrors this layered experience, combining rich colours, mouth watering photography and layered textures to reflect the in-mouth journey from crunch to creaminess.



The Big Idea.
Dare is more than just a snack, it’s a moment of joyful discovery! We set out to create packaging that invites consumers to break routine, embrace curiosity and explore new sensations.
A bold Dare logo acts as a beacon on shelf, while a rich, indulgent colour palette paired with gold accents adds appetite appeal and premium impact. Layered textures and indulgent imagery reflect the multi sensory journey inside from crunch to creaminess, turning each pack into an invitation to indulge in something extraordinary.


The Result.
The new visual identity brings consistency, emotion and impact to Dare’s diverse portfolio of chocolate bars, wafers, biscuits, cakes and muffins.
From the visual storytelling to the contrast of textures, every element is designed to entice. The design captures the layered ingredients and bold flavour combinations that define Dare, helping to elevate it from an everyday snack to a more emotional, aspirational brand experience.
Consumers are invited into a world of indulgence one bite at a time.
